Obscene Corn -- Reflection

This was another homegrown photo -- literally. Donald Lutz, my father-in-law, gave us some ears of field corn, and as a joke, I planted a few kernels in our planter out front. They all came up! My daughters and I, late one night, transplanted all but one of the plants in an undisclosed location (we'll never tell), but this one plant grew, shall I say, to a lusty lad's height.

I had to take a picture of this hilarious photograph. Humor pops up anywhere and at any time. To laugh is a human luxury -- one can laugh in prison, at the time of death, in poverty or in wealth, in sickness or in health, till death do we part from our funnybones.

Reflection Points: This PhotoSinryu invites us to appreciate the place of humor in our lives. If we are not laughing, we are not living. When is the last time you've had a good laugh? Was it at your own expense, or at others'? Does it make a difference?
